Deranged Hermit is a rare creature – Elf from Magic: The Gathering‘s Urza’s Legacy set. It costs {3}{G}{G} and has the following abilities:

  • Echo {3}{G}{G}
  • When Deranged Hermit enters the battlefield, create four 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens.
  • Squirrel creatures you control get +1/+1.

Deranged Hermit floods the board with tokens and buffs them, making it a valuable card for go-wide strategies. Its echo cost balances the powerful enter-the-battlefield effect, but clever reanimation or blink effects can bypass it.
