Cyclonic Rift – MTG Proxy Card Return to Ravnica
Cyclonic Rift is a rare instant from Magic: The Gathering‘s Return to Ravnica set. It costs {1}{U} and has the following abilities:
- Return target nonland permanent you don’t control to its owner’s hand.
- Overload
{6}{U}– You may cast this spell for its overload cost. If you do, change its text by replacing all instances of “target” with “each.”
Cyclonic Rift is a format-defining card in Commander, providing one-sided board wipes that leave your permanents untouched. It can clear opponents’ boards, creating opportunities for massive swings in your favor.
Tip:
Overload Cyclonic Rift at the end of an opponent’s turn to open the battlefield for a winning attack. In control decks, Rift can stall aggressive opponents by bouncing key threats early in the game.

Mnemonic Deluge
Allows you to cast Cyclonic Rift up to three times from your graveyard, resetting the board repeatedly.
Imprints Cyclonic Rift, providing repeatable bounce effects for nonland permanents.

Prevents opponents from responding to Rift, guaranteeing the overloaded board wipe resolves.
Propaganda
