Shock Land Set Details

Shock lands represent a distinct category of lands capable of yielding two different types of mana. The term ‘shock’ in their name derives from the option to pay a cost of two life (akin to a card named “Shock” that inflicts 2 damage) to have them enter the battlefield untapped.
