Liliana of the Veil – MTG Innistrad

Liliana of the Veil is a mythic rare planeswalker card from Magic: The Gathering's Innistrad set. For a cost of {1}{B}{B}, she enters the battlefield with three loyalty counters. Her abilities are:

  • +1: Each player discards a card.
  • -2: Target player sacrifices a creature.
  • -6: Separate all permanents target player controls into two piles. That player sacrifices all permanents in the pile of their choice.

Liliana's abilities provide hand disruption, creature removal, and a powerful ultimate that can dismantle an opponent's board state.

Tip:

Leverage Liliana's +1 ability to deplete your opponent's hand while filling your graveyard, potentially enabling graveyard-based strategies. Her -2 ability is effective against indestructible or hexproof creatures, forcing opponents to sacrifice them. Building up to her ultimate can be a game-ending move, so protect her to maximize her impact.
