Edgar Markov (FOIL) – MTG Proxy Card Commander 2017

Edgar Markov is a mythic rare legendary creature – Vampire Knight from Magic: The Gathering‘s Commander 2017 set. It costs {3}{R}{W}{B} and has the following abilities:

  • Eminence – Whenever you cast another Vampire spell, if Edgar Markov is in the command zone or on the battlefield, create a 1/1 black Vampire creature token.
  • First strike, haste
  • Whenever Edgar Markov attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on each Vampire you control.

Edgar Markov is the ultimate commander for Vampire tribal decks, flooding the board with tokens and buffing them aggressively. His eminence ability ensures continuous value even when he isn’t on the battlefield.

Tip:

Use Edgar Markov to overwhelm opponents with vampires, taking advantage of his ability to create tokens whenever vampires are cast. Pair him with low-cost vampires and token doublers to rapidly build a lethal board state.
