Kindred Dominance lets a creature-type deck clear away opposing threats while preserving its core board. You choose a creature type as the spell resolves, then destroy every creature that does not have that type. Seven mana is a substantial investment, but the potential to keep your attackers while removing most blockers gives the spell a much different role from a symmetrical board wipe.
Zombie, Vampire, and Dragon decks are natural homes when they include black and have a high concentration of their chosen type. A Zombie deck led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver can keep its main engine and token army, while a Dragon deck can retain several expensive flyers. Mana acceleration helps you reach the spell before an opposing board becomes overwhelming.
Pay attention to the creatures that will survive on both sides. An opponent's creatures of the chosen type remain, and changelings have every creature type. Your own utility creatures outside the selected type are destroyed too, so a board containing mana creatures and off-type support pieces may lose more than first appears. Those losses can still be worthwhile if your main attacking force survives.
Cast Dominance when the retained creatures can meaningfully exploit the opening. A clear attack, a protected engine, or a strong follow-up turn justifies the cost better than removing creatures without advancing your position. It destroys rather than exiles, so indestructible threats and graveyard recursion remain relevant when deciding whether it is the right sweeper.
