Shifting Woodland is a green land that can temporarily copy a permanent card in your graveyard once delirium is active. Activating that ability requires at least four card types among cards in the graveyard and a payment of two generic and two green mana. The copy lasts until the end of the turn, giving the land a very different role during a developed game.
Copying a permanent changes the Woodland already on the battlefield; it does not cause that permanent to enter again. An Eternal Witness copy therefore does not produce a new entry trigger. Look for useful activated or static abilities instead. Woodland enters tapped unless you control a Forest, so its early mana role also deserves attention.
A green-black deck can copy Bolas’s Citadel to gain its top-of-library casting ability without casting the six-mana artifact. You still need life to pay for spells and must follow normal timing restrictions. The temporary copy also changes Woodland’s available abilities, so decide whether its normal land function or the copied permanent’s text is more useful before committing four mana to the transformation.
The copy ability targets a permanent card, so removing that card from the graveyard can stop the intended transformation. Delirium counts card types rather than individual cards. An artifact creature can contribute two types, but several ordinary creatures still contribute only the creature type toward the requirement.
