Intuition is strongest when all three revealed choices lead toward the same plan. You search for three cards, let an opponent choose one for your hand, and put the other two into your graveyard. A deck that uses its graveyard can turn that apparent drawback into the reason to cast the spell.
Life from the Loam offers a practical example. Include it with two useful lands, and either receive Loam directly or place it in the graveyard where dredge can recover it. The lands can then become accessible through Loam. Other packages use flashback spells, recursive creatures, or reanimation targets so the opponent cannot simply deny the one card that matters.
Instant speed lets you wait until an opponent's end step or react to changing information. You might prepare a graveyard engine, find several interchangeable answers, or assemble resources for the next turn. The selected cards are revealed, so the table learns what you are setting up even though the exact route depends on the opponent's choice.
For a simple land package, Life from the Loam plus two lands gives you different routes to the same resources. If Loam goes to the graveyard, replacing a later draw with dredge can recover it. Graveyard exile can interrupt that route, so account for visible opposing interaction.
Avoid treating Intuition as an unrestricted tutor for one irreplaceable card. If the other two choices do not support your plan, the opponent can leave the important card in the graveyard where you may be unable to use it. Work out all three possible outcomes before searching. A well-built package makes the choice inconvenient for the opponent because each outcome gives you a useful next play.
