What Anointed Procession Does

Anointed Procession doubles the number of tokens created under your control. If an effect would make one or more tokens, it makes twice that many instead. Creature tokens, Treasure tokens, Clues, Food, Blood, copies, and other token types can all benefit if the effect is creating tokens under your control.

The main value of Anointed Procession is scaling. It does not create tokens by itself, but it makes every token-maker in your deck much more threatening. One Soldier becomes two. Five Treasures become ten. A normal token turn suddenly becomes the reason everyone at the table starts counting blockers with the grim focus of an accountant in a horror movie.
