Bloom Tender scales with the colors of permanents you control. Tapping it adds one mana of each of those colors, making it a compact accelerator for decks that establish multicolor creatures, enchantments, or planeswalkers. Bloom Tender itself supplies green, and a commander with several colors can turn the same activation into a much larger burst of mana.
The ability checks actual colors on the battlefield, rather than your commander’s color identity or the colors your lands can produce. A typical land is colorless and adds nothing to the count. Multiple green permanents still contribute only one green mana, while adding a blue permanent gives you access to both green and blue from the same activation.
Freed from the Real creates a specific combo. The Aura is blue and Bloom Tender is green, so an enchanted Tender can tap for at least green and blue. Spend the blue mana to untap it with the Aura, then repeat to generate an arbitrarily large amount of green mana. Tender must be able to use its tap ability, and you still need an outlet such as Finale of Devastation to convert that mana into a decisive play.
Outside a combo, Bloom Tender is strong when its mana output develops naturally alongside your board. It is less reliable after a sweeper or in a deck whose permanents are mostly one color. Creature removal can also interrupt the untap loop, so leave room for protection instead of assuming the enchantment guarantees a successful finish.
