Delney, Streetwise Lookout rewards a board of small creatures in two ways. Creatures you control with power two or less cannot be blocked by creatures with power three or greater, and triggered abilities of your creatures with power two or less trigger an additional time. That combination helps utility creatures generate more value while finding attacks through boards dominated by larger threats.
Recruiter of the Guard can provide additional searches when its entry ability triggers while Delney is present. Soul Warden can produce more life-gain triggers from creatures entering, supporting white lifegain decks that also want a board of small creatures. The ability applies to qualifying creatures' triggers, so the deck can support entry, death, combat, and other triggered abilities rather than focusing on one narrow category.
Power matters at the relevant moment. Anthem effects and counters can push a creature above two power and switch off Delney's help for that creature. This creates a real deck-building tension: growing a small army may improve combat while reducing the number of doubled triggers. Choose boosts carefully when the triggered abilities are central to your engine.
The blocking restriction is not complete unblockability. Opposing creatures with power two or less can still block normally, so token boards may remain an obstacle. Delney works best when small creatures are already useful on their own, letting the additional triggers and selective evasion improve an existing value plan rather than forcing weak creatures into the deck.
