All Is Dust gives colorless and artifact-heavy decks a sweeping answer to colored permanents. Each player sacrifices every permanent they control that has one or more colors, which can remove creatures, enchantments, and planeswalkers in a single spell. The sacrifice instruction also handles indestructible permanents that ordinary destroy-based removal would leave behind.
Eldrazi decks are natural homes because many of their threats are colorless and survive the effect. Artifact ramp such as Thran Dynamo and colorless creatures such as Wurmcoil Engine can remain while opponents lose much of their development. Eldrazi Temple can help cast the spell because it is a colorless Eldrazi spell, despite being a sorcery rather than a creature.
Color and card type are separate questions. A colored artifact is sacrificed, while a colorless creature remains. Lands are usually colorless even when they produce colored mana, so the spell does not normally remove ordinary lands. Your own colored support permanents are affected too, including enchantments or creatures that helped you reach seven mana.
Review the board before casting rather than assuming the exchange will be one-sided. An opponent using mostly colorless artifacts may lose very little, while a colored deck can rebuild through death triggers or graveyard recursion. All Is Dust works best when your threats and mana sources survive and you can immediately exploit the space created by removing the colored engines around them.
